My 4-H Muzzleloading Team
« on: May 27, 2010, 07:29:58 AM »
Finally got out Tuesday with my Jr./Sr muzzleloading teams and the kids shot awsome for the first practice of the year. My youngest son shoots on the Jr. team and he shot an 81 out of 90 possible points. My oldest just moved up to the Sr. team and shot a 68 out of 90. He should be in the top 5 at state with that score. I believe it's going to be a good year... :)...bull

That is awesome...it is in our youth that our future lay....you keep them shooting and we will be allowed to as well.

Very good.  8)

The boys told me yesterday that they wanted to try and get their deer and elk with muzzleloaders this year. We drew some deer tags here in Colorado for the rifle season but might use our smokepoles instead. I have the .54 Renegade shooting real well (with some good advice here with a grouping problem) and am anxious to try it out on some big game...gonna have some fun this year...bull

Just got back from our County 4-H muzzleloading shoot and it was a great day. My 12 year old won the Jr. Traditional class and my 14 year old won the Senior division. I'm very proud of them and my entire team as we look forward to the state shoot in Pueblo , Colo.  in August.   :)
