At some point in time, I hope someone will give this up. Everyone knows everyone here, and everyone knows their tendencies. The question is, will anything be accomplished to continue, and is anything being accomplished.
Spirithawk. I am half Cherokee. My father, and his father were full bloods. I don't give a tinker's dam what someone from Florida with a reputation for Trolling thinks about my lineage. Most of the time, I don't care what he thinks about ANYTHING. And SOMETIMES, he shows the good side of himself. He's like that old friend that drinks too much every now and then. He's jerkin your chain, and your rattlin like a barrel wagon.
Anyone whom has ever ACTUALLY READ FACTUAL HISTORY, knows Custer was a glory hungry idiot, that got a lot of good men killed BEFORE Little Bighorn. Sitting Bull was a Medicine Man, and most likely did not fight. And Crazy Horse and Gall were not only brilliant strategists, but "pure bad ass" to the bone, and so were their men. When the fight was over however, the Sioux women went around and poked sewing awls in the soldiers ears, so that THEY WOULD HEAR IN THE NEXT LIFE. How weird is that?
Indians killed other Indians, and Indians, including women and children, took slaves of some of them, and took personal property of other tribes, and on and on. They did what every man, woman, and child, has done since the beginning of man, almost 8,000 years ago. They were no better, or worse than anyone else.
650,000 soldiers mostly Southern died in the War of Northern Aggression. And that DOESN'T COUNT the Southern white civilians that died. White men, killing white men. And so it goes.
There are always going to be men, that agreed with Andrew Jackson's idea of solving the "Indian Problem" with GENECIDE. And there are always going to be men that think Lincoln was a great president, rather than the queer butcher that he really was. They are going to think that, because the WANT TO THINK IT.
A little advice from someone whom understands your intent. Say what you have to say "plainly", and reduce the size of your buttons, so that they will not be so easily pushed.
