I am really thrilled with my newest rifle! I won an auction for a NIB #1 with the full length Mannlicher stock in .243. Ruger actually quit making them in that caliber 5 years ago but a dealer in Michigan was still holding one so I couldn't let it get away. At 100 yards, 2 quick shots to find where my bore sighting got me. They were 1/2" apart 5" hi and 2" right. A couple adjustments and I brought home a target with 10 holes in a 1 3/8" group centered 1" above the the center of a 1" Shoot-N-See dot. 6 of the bullets made one ragged hole. I was shooting reloads of 95 grain Nosler BT's and I just don't think I could be more pleased about it. I put a Nikon Omega on it because it it has 5" eye relief. The one without the BDC circles is great for any caliber. This will be my wife's deer rifle and I don't want her to ever get whacked by a scope or she may get scared and start flinching. Some have told me that the RSI stock is less accurate and others have said it's fine. I'm fine with what I see so far.
