« on: July 18, 2010, 07:42:43 AM »
We have a BSA Midland rifle in 3006 that needs a new stock These rifles were british manufactured from m98 and 03 actions I understand  in various grades , but no longer made .
Our Midland was the workings man Model, and the stock is cracked in many place's .

Does any one know were there is a stock or where we could have one made and sent to Ontario Canada ?

If you have no luck finding an original replacement, once you figure out if it is '98 based or '03 based, you should not have any problem finding a used sporter stock on e-bay. Barrel channel, etc., may need some work, but not a big deal. Or, maybe find someone who has a stock duplicating machine, and have an exact copy made of yours.

If looking for a gunsmith shop I would strongly suggest you speak with those that are GrayBeard Outdoors supporters.. Good luck..
