Ghost towns in SE Oklahoma?
« on: May 29, 2010, 09:52:29 AM »
I do a bit of four wheeling in the southeast part of the state and am always interested in history and checking out old ghost towns, mines, caves or anything else that might be interesting.  You know of anything that might be worth looking at while I am riding around in the woods?

I was raised in a small town and a few weeks ago my sister found an abandoned house that we never knew existed. It was full of old newspapers and one of the first she looked at announced the discovery of penicillin. She is a nurse and thought it was really neat to find that.
Thanks,
