I bet you will be very pleased with that choice. Never shot one but they have a good reputation as a company.

Got the Vortex today, get it all set up. Took it out back and sighted it in. All I can say is WOW does this Xbow shoot great. At 20 yards I had all the bolts touching. I moved out to 30 yards and the same thing. This bow shoots great. Can't wait to move out to 40 and 50 yards to see what it will do.

Personally, I would rather keep my shots at 40 and under. Only if MR wonderful stepped out would I try a 50 yard shot, but only after I practice at that range, and know the bow is capable of doing it as well.  ;D ;D

With Michigans new laws last year on xbow hunting I bought an Exocet package  and hunted with it .  Love it.  I look forward to going out with it again this fall.

I took it over to a buddies house yesterday, and he shot my crossbow, now he is ordering one as well. The Excalibur's are quit as crossbows go. A lot more quit then any other crossbow I have owned.
