Did a lot at night, during the winter.  Right now the ticks are bad - can't stand them.  Been staying out of the woods.  They were never this bad when I was a kid.  I usually see a few during the summer when I am shooting woodchuck, but I usually let em go.  I'd rather take them in the winter when their fur is prime and worth a few bucks.  I like the .204 Ruger - it goes in and explodes - seldom exits, so there is little fur damage.

The lawyers who owns the farm i live on pays $50 per. His cattle are more important to him ;). That's why my .35 Rem works best for me on this. Yotes around here seem to get worse and worse every year, and bigger.

It would if I had more on the property. I think they are learning it's not safe between me and my dog. My dog does love going to the field with me and without me. About 2 months ago she killed one and drug to the front door of the house, when my wife woke up and went outside is scared the mess out of her. Lol last thing my wife expected was a dead yote on the front porch. I still laugh at that :D

I have always wanted to try but never have.  The property I hunt has tons of them but its all thick hardwoods so you have to get them close in order to get a shot.  This time of year, I have the fishing itch which makes it most difficult to go out in the woods.  The property I hunt has allot of turkeys too but I wood rather be sitting in a boat not catching fish than sitting in the woods not hearing or seeing any turkeys.  Come August, I won't be able to get my mind off of hunting.

That is the truth!  I killed one in deer season that I almost let go because I thought it was the neighbor's German Shepard.

JTaylor, how have you had such good success in the heavy brush of the east...??? I have cousins in Pa. that do pretty well, but they run them with dogs...no one up there that I know seems to kill them with any degree of success except the dog men...nothing wrong with that, either....

I live in the city limits of Nashville right off of 440 and West End.  I was out walking the other night and there was a coyote in someones back yard.
