Got a question on brass identification. I recently bought some new unprimed nickel 357 Maximum brass from another GBO member here. It was advertised as Federal brand. When I got it, all the brass is marked as IHMSA 357 Max with what appears to be a ram silhouette to the left of the headstamp.
what did I get? It is of excellent quality and I certainly don't feel cheated. I think it's close to unique, since I never heard of it.
I would interested in who made it and in what quantities the runs were. Also, does it have andy collector's value? Some of what I got was 1x fired and some was Remington, so I can use it without regrets.
Honestly, I would still use the new stuff as well since that is what I bought it for in the first place. Thanks for the information.
