could some help me out?

Their was a topic a while back on customized ruger 10/22's i believe. Their was a company that made them on the ruger action or used a ruger magazine. I cant remember them name of  company tho. I remember graybeard mentioning the company. any ideas guys?

If I mentioned it then it was Magnum Research that's what I have. The patent on the rifle has expired and they use the same basic gun but much improved over the way Ruger does it.

I think AMT ( Arcadia Machine and Tool ) was probably the first clone of the 10-.22, used Stainless for the reciever. I believe Ruger eventually forced them to stop production. AMT did have some innovations; better mag release, 'scope mounting rail, etc.

I think a lot of AMT's problems were related to their pricing IIRC.  I always wanted one of their .30 Carbine AutoMags, but they were pretty steep.  8(
