I really like the pup thing, but what a hassle it is. The dogs I have now were so easy to raise, housebreaking was a dream, it took days for Molly to get it 100%, and King just two weeks. While neither of them is good on the leash, Molly lunges at everything, and King pulls like a winch, they really are pretty well behaved in general, and the quietest dogs I have ever had. They both ignore things that would have had any of my previous dogs all worked up, and barking insanely at.

I know I'm very unlikely to hit the jackpot next time, so maybe the next ones won't be pups.

Well here he is at 3 years of age, He has really settled down. He is one of the best dogs I ever had, Our house is his home and all his duties go outside. He was very easy to train.
