At the price, you wont be out much, and it may suit your casual/fun purposes. The steel is pretty soft, so disassemble and lube the pivot and the elevation screw with something like a good moly grease. They will hold up longer.....and make sure you dont crank the eyecup down too tight to lock in place (threads are small and strip out easily) and make sure you loosen it before you try to turn the elev. screw as those threads dont take much either.
