I recently put in a 3.5 lb trigger pull connector for my new Glock, really helps to lower the heavy factory trigger. There is a good film on You tube that shows you can install it without having to take the front 2 pins out of the gun, just the 1 rear one using a butter knife and a hex wrench. Lots of Glock parts out there, Ghost has a connector for the Ruger SR-9, but it involves alot of work to install it, special skills, etc.
My Ruger SR-9 has an 8 pound pull, according to my Timney trigger scale!
I have only owned the gun for a little over a year and it really hurts my finger to shoot it, I am a large man. I read that the compact model is lighter in the trigger dept, why don't they make the larger brother the same? I am thinking of trading it off, shame, as it is accurate and reliable with good ergonomics. My Ruger P-89 has an acceptable trigger pull, as well as my other pistols.
Thinking of a Smith and Wesson M and P, an FNP-9, and a SIG. Smiths are known to have a gritty heavy trigger pull (7.8 lb in their .45). I have checked Brownells, Midway-USA, and other places for after market trigger parts, and barrels, etc. for the above pistols, nothing. At this point I may get another Glock, and just do Glocks. Does anyone know of a good source of easy to install trigger parts for the Smith, FN, and SIG?
