Found missing transfer bar
« on: July 31, 2010, 05:56:35 PM »
I posted this question on the shotgun thread also but will probably get an answer here quicker. Lost the transfer bar from a 4-10 youth several years ago, found it still inside the gun this evenin. Is this something I can fix myself or do I need to send it off?

Probably depends on how it broke.  If it still has the little pin in it, you may be able to put it back in and peen the end over.  Take a look at a good one and see how it is supposed to look.  Larry
A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

Brownell's sells them in their H&R parts, download Perklo's trigger hone info to see how to install it.
