Truck tents?
« on: June 29, 2003, 03:55:58 PM »
I was looking at various sites on the internet at some tents that  fit in teh bed of a pick up truck. I spotted one that has 5 feet of space at the center and goes over the sides of the truck. It looks pretty interesting. I was wondering if anyone here on the board has had any experieces with such a tent. I would really appreciate any information.

Truck tents?

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would reply anyway.(I havent been in this forum before now)  I have had a truck tent for about 4 years and it is great in good weather I guess this is true with all tents. Make sure if your truck has a bedliner in it you drill drain holes in it. Trust me on this it makes for a long night during a november deer camp when it rains  Also they are a little short so if you like to use a sleeping cot you might feel a little closed in. The nice thing about them though is you always have a flat surface to sleep on   All in all I like it and it goes up really quick.
