Is any one familiar with the book "Artillery of the Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902 by  Lionel Crook?

Classic arms has a copy listed in the auction catalog and I was considering bidding.  Want to know more about it.

Nope, and it's not showing up on www.abebooks.com either, which is world wide  and includes amazon.

I am tempted, but the catalog is showing projected selling price  of R950-- $130 or so.  Can't justify that kind of money right now, won't be able to buy a Krupp.

     I'm not familiar with the book, but it probably would be a good source of info about Big Cecil and Long Tom and maybe the Screw-Guns used in that conflict.  We'd love to sell you a Krupp cracker gun, DD, but it sounds like you will at least get to fire one if Ernie stays interested!

     Too bad you guys can't take about 25% of these recent blistering temps and apply them to your wintertime temps!
