European made reloading components
« on: August 06, 2010, 02:21:12 AM »
I am looking for European made reloading components to reload Sellier and Bellot 8mm Mauser brass.  I shoot a Husquarvarna made 98 Mauser in 8mm and have found that the European made brass with a .476 -.477 rim functions (extracts and ejects) much more positively than does US made (Win/Rem) brass with a .474 rim.

Does anyone know where I can obtain European made large rifle primers to reload the S&B brass??  The primer pockets on this brass are not as deep as the primer pockets on US made brass and I don't want to lose the use and effectiveness of the European made brass.  I will go for RWS, Dynamint Nobel, GECO or any European components that will work.

Thanks for the help.  Mikey.

Try Wolf large primers.  I've been using them in .45 ACP with nary a problem.  You can find them at Wideners or Powder Valley.
