pressure cooker coon?

im going to try to replicate my gmas coon recipe this fall. it was tender and juicy and flavorfull. i loved it as a young teen.i know she didnt use a pressure cooker but ive had good luk with it on other game. it seems to infuse the flavor of what spices and veggies yu use into the meat and really tenderizes it.any ideas from yu other hunters?

I loved them as a kid.  but my wife said if I brought one home and cooked it, she would throw the pot away. ;D

What I do is too simple to call a recipe. Get the gland kernels out of course. Boil it 30 minutes or so then bake it with s & p or the same seasonings as pork or gill it and finish it with BBQ sauce or not. eddie

Can't beat a pressure cooker!  Cut him up into managable portions and chuck him in the pressure cooker with nothing more than salt and pepper for 20 to 25 minutes after reaching pressure.  Let him cool a bit and remove the meat from the pot.  Should be able to shred the meat just like pulled pork.  Throw the meat in a pan with your favorite BBQ sauce (we make our own) to reheat andyour good to go.  If you're going to feed more than just yourself one ain't enough.   ;)

thanks for the advice guys! ill try what yu say this fall when trapping season opens.i have a creek in my backyard that i.s brimming with young coon.

Boil it 30 minutes, batter and fry like chicken.  A young one is better.  Trim away the fat on top of the back.
