The father of a friend of mine gave up whiskey at 75 yrs old, but he keep shooting until he was in his mid 90s. ;D

lol.. My grandfather quit drinking at 45 and took it back up (on a considerably lesser scale ;)) when he was 85.. lived to be 94. He kind of quit shooting the last few years, but  he fished almost every day. :)

I'm just about 70 (April) and I haven't given up whiskey or break open rifles ;)

Dave's in Nu Joisey, and I'm on Da U.P. of Michigan......Were he closer, he'd be a Handiholic.  My sister and Dave had 8 kids.  Today their kids have kids, and their kids kids have kids.  My mom saw 5 generations. I don't think his attitude over the years was that he was anti gun, I think it was not wanting them in the house with all those kids, brats and toddlers about.  He never had any interest in hunting or fishing either.  He's a retired school prinicple and mathematician.  Does crazy hypothetical math problems for fun.  Never knows if it is raining or snowing outside.......and doesn't know to come in if it is.  But, he's been great for my sister for 50 years, and I love him.

Hell Yes!  She wasn't even familiar with my rifle and she shot my pants off with it.  The .223.  The woman is wicked.  Der oughta be a law bout upity squaws. She's a Juan Pablo Montoya fan and he finally won a race this weekend, and she outshot me.  Any body here wanna come up and try to live with her?  Jeeze, she's on a high.

I have to chime in here too!  I had a great time shooting with Pete and the other guys in Grayling.  Pete was also very generous, thanks again Pete.  I had fun shooting his .357 max and I had an absoulte ball with my H&R .45 Carbine!  It was a fun time for all and I hope lots more people can come next year!  44 Man
