92 blued or stainless
« on: August 17, 2010, 04:54:46 AM »
I got bitten by the bug and I am going to get a 92 357 with the 16" barrel. It will be use mainly for fun but some possible hunting. I have been unable to find any Rossi locally in stainless. From the pics I have seen, the SS doesn't look like it was bead blasted. How bright is it?

It's not a bead blast, and it's not a high polish.  It's somewhere in the middle, but probably leaning more towards the shiney side.  I've had both blued & stainless puma 92 styles out in the rain, and I'll stick with my stainless model hands down.  Puma 92's are like a disease that makes you want to buy more and more of them.

teddy12b is right, it's not a high polish like nickle but not bead blasted either.  DP
