Trigger Question
« on: August 03, 2010, 02:59:46 PM »
I have no doubt that this has been asked a hundred time but I didn't see it. A friend of mine is getting a Model 70 tonight. It has a synthetic stock and a redfield scope. I kinda have a huntch the trigger has never been touched and we both know what a good trigger should feel like.

Is the Model 70 trigger easily adjusted or should he just get a Timney?

It all depends upon what a worker would call "easily adjusted".

It not as easy as adjusting your TV, but it's not rocket science, either.

When I got my winchester model 70,which was made in the last ten years -all the smith did was cut a coil off the trigger spring . That was that .
