Range Report.....
« on: August 01, 2010, 11:34:19 AM »
Went to the range this morning with a few guys I know.  Most of them were shootin' their ARs but all I took was my 1860 Army.  They were all shootin at 50 yards so I set up a silhouette at 50 yards sent two cylinders at it off hand.  I was well pleased with the results and a couple of my friends are thinking on getting them one now.  Oh and I did draw a crowd also.  There were a lot of folks out this morning and most of them had never seen a smoke wagon in action.  I did more explaining than shootin I think....but I didn't mine, especially for that cute blonde that came over...;)

Here is a picture of my target.

Good work Hawks, you made converts! Now you'll have to teach them how to get results from their own guns.   ;D
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

Whenever I shoot one of my C&B revolvers it draws a crowd especially when I out shoot all of the modern handguns.  I really like it when I blow the 10 ring out of a target at 25 yards and then compare it to all of the other targets that look like they were hit with buckshot.  I have had more than one guy leave the range because he was embarased that an old hog leg could shoot better than his high cap 40 S&W Sig
