Taurus sell-out?

Is Taurus following the same road S&W took a couple or so years ago?

On the 19th of April, 1775, a tyrannical government sent an army to disarm its citizens. They ran into a touch of trouble.

Hmm. Not sure what they are trying to do but I don't think I like it. They may just be trying to get some of the millions of $ the US Government is putting out in grants to folks to develop this technology. I fear it and sure ain't happy to find more folks jumping on the bandwagon. One day I expect someone to be trying to pass laws making all guns that don't have it illegal. Each break thru made in putting it into use is one more nail in the coffin.

New Jersey has already passed a law that 3 years after the technology is developed to make such guns available, all new handguns sold in their state will have to be equipped with it. Taurus is collaborating with the enemy, in my opinion.

Yup I was aware of the NJ law. I don't think they are the only one. Couldn't agree with you more. I think any company doing this is not only working with the enemy but also working to end their own company. I think they are stupid in the worst way.

i dont know who in the hell would want a weapon like that; i know i would not.  and yes, it doesnt bode well.   i would rather have my flintlock.   it could be that taurus is trying to retain it's status as the industry leader in innovation.   but i would never buy into it.  kind of like the remington electric rifle.   what a joke.
