Hello all,would anyone familiar with the workings of the 513 trigger tell me what can be done to improve the pull,and what to avoid or be careful of? thanks,jim

Hi.  Nobody is saying much about that 513 trigger, because it is not the best to work on.  There is an adjustment mechanism you can see if you remove it from the stock.  In front of the trigger is a piece of flat metal held on with one fat screw; it has a small screw in either end.  These are for adjustments.  Play around and you might be able to improve it.  Good luck (have fun!).

Hi 513 shooter!
    like the other guy said 513 triggers, dont lend themselves to tweeking. there was an aftermarket triggerfor sale but i cant remember from what company??? not timney but dayton traister i think. call dayton and ask them about a replacement, and if they dont make one, ask if they know who might.
    i,ve had two 513,s great shooters off the bench, but bad trigger shows in off hand position. good luck.
