Casting for .308

Veral,

I have a new .308 Savage Weather Warrior that I plan to use primarily with Jacket Bullets but also want to try cast.  I am thinking about hunting whitetail and muledeer with the cast bullet.  I want to gas check and go for 1800-1900 velocity.

Can you:
Suggest the best style of bullet you would make a mold for including weight.
Is your M.O. to have the customer, me send a Cerrosafe mold or ??

  Sorry my website is such a mess and I'm not able to get it smoothed out.

  I've tried to put my phone number and email address in enough places so anyone getting caught in the thorny places will just give me a call or email and get it straight from the 'horses mouth', as the old cliche goes.

  308's tend to be very short throated, so I wouldn't even venture a guess as to what weight your's will handle.  With a  swaged soft lead slug from the throat I can cut a bullet that will fill whatever the throat dictates, and you will get excellent accuracy.  Rifle throat slugs are listed in the website.  Just name your caliber when you order.  We have them for everything, and they come with complete instructions which are easy to follow.
