Gary,
Do you think that a Krupp would perform in the same manner?  You have seen the design, is there any way that the percussion cap alone would propel anything?  Just asking because I don't know.

Oh yes they will , we've had disscutions about this very thing . With a normal cracker gun the charge is about 7 grains .

What I really like about this design is that it is scalable , you could keep the rotating bolt realitivly small and use it as the booster charge for a bag gun .

The projo goes in and up the tube  a 'bagged charge' (nitrited paper)goes in behind it the cap and small charge in the bolt will fire the bag .....

Gary

when the Krupp is loaded it will be no toy ! ....... it is .312" dia and could kill with a ball .

This 'artist' certainly didn't mind sacrificing a lot of his time for cleaning up the messes made in the production of this video masterpeice.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

This guy also makes a 'bb' firing small cannon and a 'bb' barrel that resembles a gonne.
