CDNN Oversize Walnut Grips For RUGER NMBH & NMSBH????
« on: December 16, 2003, 04:27:26 PM »
I would like to order some CDNN Oversize Walnut Grips for a RUGER Black Hawk and Super Black Hawk but I don't know what they look like on these guns.

These are the grips available in/from the CDNN catalog.

I'm interested in the Checkered Oversize Grips with Right and Left Thumb Rests for the Black Hawk (#SIL 411 @ $7.99) and the Premier Target Walnut Checkered Grips with Right and Left Thumb rests for the Super Black Hawk (#SIL S47 @ $8.99). Both Listed on Page 128 of the CDNN Catalog.

Does anyone have any pictures of these grips on these guns???

I plan on removing the checkering and contouring the oversize grips for a better/larger grip on these two guns.

Thanks - J.Solo

I've had them before.  Not bad grips.  Fine for single controlled shots but slow on repeat shots if you are as used to regular single action grips as some old folks are.  These are Siles in case you are familiar with those.  Why worry that much?  For $8 or $9 they are not too much of a gamble compared to Ajax, Eagle, Herretts, or Letts.

It's not the money it's the time. I guess I'll order two of the Black Hawks and one of the Super Black Hawks to work on as a winter project after the holidays. - J.Solo
