You know I drove cars without seat belts for years, I carried a 1911 in the Army for two years, and my first deer rifle was a military surpluses 303 British, 4 of my younger brothers all started out on 336 Marlins, they still have and use, But today you have seat belts in cars, and child car seats, I have a 1911, seems it has a frame, grip, and barrel safety on it, but my new hammer handguns Sig, Rugers and S&W all have decockers on them, and even the new Marlins have hammer block safeties, the older ones were placed in half cock, a little hard for a kid to do, Talk is cheap, but when it comes to your kid, or in this case my nephew, you want him to be as safe as possible, I own and hunt some with a 336, letting the hammer down or on half cock, on a live round with small cold glove covered hands is not safe.
This is my fault. I should have phrases the question, Differently (Is there in current production fire arms manufacturer that produces a 3030 bolt action Rifle.) I was pretty sure no one did but thought I would double check.
