H335 in 45-70
« on: November 04, 2004, 07:15:21 AM »
New to 45-70. What do you guy's think is the best all around bullet weight? What do ya think about Beartooth bullets and how about H335 powder? I got a small keg of it, so I'd like to use it. I'm leaning toward a 405 grain bullet. I just want one good all around load.

Thanks

Depends on what you are going to shoot with it as far as bullet weight and type.

Loading data at:

And H-335 is a usable powder in everything but the 250 grain bullets, but it is not my choice of powder in any weight.
