NORICA shotgun
« on: August 17, 2010, 01:44:45 PM »
I have a shotgun made by "norica" which is now a air gun manufacture? its a 12 gauge single shot, on top of the barrell it says "norberto arizmendi v cia-eibar(espana)" and "MADE IN SPAIN". it says 39 under the barrell and under the forearm (if it had one) on the bottom of the gun it has 40479 and 12-70 in a little box, and a 2 in front of two crossed guns. and thats basically all i know about it.

I don't see that name listed in my reference books so can tell you about nothing on it. The 12-70 means 12 ga. and 2-3/4" chambers. Eibar is in the heart of Spanish gun making district.

Lots of really cheap and really low quality Spanish guns used to find their way to the US. Now days most that come from there are of rather high quality and cost accordingly. Where yours falls into the mix I have no clue.
