They have all the tooling to do it with, all they need to do is change the machining on the front of the Sidekick receiver to allow a wide underlug, then make up pistol barrels with the shortened lug.  Then the pistol barrels could not be put on a rifle or the other way around.  I think this gun in 357 Max would be really nice.  Larry

...i wonder if there is enough metal there to cut a little away and make a Bisley grip for it....

Think outside the box guys, I did this mostly because people said it could not be done.  If you can envision it you can probably find a way to do it.  Bilsey grip?  Just think what it should look like and how to fit it, you can probably find a way to make it happen.  Larry

Could they be sold as a kit with the owner doing a little fitting to finish them?

Don't get me wrong I think what you have done is great and a fine job. The problem is no one lives forever and at some time its ownership will change

I would say this was a major failure of a project.  It shot badly (very), it was loud, and it had major pressure problems because of the large fireing pin.  If you do one you may have better luck than I did.  It did look good however.  Now, because I cannot sell it, I stripped the frame and cut it up, I have no use for it now.  Some projects just turn out better than others do.  I would say this is the end of the story, I learned some things and probably some other people did also.  Please lock it up Quick, and thankyou for letting it stay as long as it did.   :) Larry

When we converted shotguns to rifle we bushed the fireing pin for propper pin size. I think the 22Hornet is one of the hardest to stop backflow of the primer

I loaded lil gun and 35 grain bullets and rem 6.5 primers. Seemed to stop the primer issue.

Sorry to hear that Larry, looked like a good idea to me, maybe the Sidekick frame just isn't stout enough, it only needs to withstand recoil with a ML barrel.  :-\
