« on: August 31, 2010, 08:37:20 AM »
Went to my local pawn shop today looked at a marlin 44 mag. 1978 it's in about 80% stock looks good bore looks real good screws looks like they used a butter knife on blueing pretty good. There asking 379.00 offered 275.00 they came back with 325.00, its in pretty fare shape it will be a project gun, I think it just may have to come home with me and the best part is the wife says go for it [early birthday present] what do yall think of the price?

the price sounds good.....but i'd still put 300 cash in my hand and offer it to em. If they say no i'd put the money away and walk out. 50-50 chance they'll stop you on the way out the door. You can always come back tomorrow and give em the 325....Mike
