New Rugers?????????????
« on: November 28, 2003, 01:49:30 PM »
I've read on a few different forums that Ruger is coming out with a new line. Anybody have any ideas as to the changes they will be making or if they are really coming out with a new line? I want to get the P97 but hate to get one and see a newer model come out a week later. Also any guesses on another rebate? Had property taxes all come due the last rebate so I lost out. Here I can buy a new SS P97 decock for $389.00 if I went with the P97 how the price seem?? But like I said if a new line is coming out i'd just as soon wait and get the newer model

All, I've seen so far is a couple new single action revolvers and some rifles in new chamberings and a some additions to the 10/22 family.  I'm guessing you're referring to a new line of semi-auto handguns though.  correct?

Just checked a few sites and the going price was #360-$375.  Add shipping and transfer fees and you're over $400.   If your set on ne, why not, they're inexpensive enough so that even if there is another model line coming out, they likely won't hit the shelves for a while and then they'll be  commanding premium prices just because of the "gotta have it cause it's new" demand.
