Shooting Off For a Few Days
« on: August 31, 2010, 04:14:43 PM »
But I shot better today.  My last group was 6" at 22 yards including a flier.  I worked on my form today and I think I wasn't quite coming to full draw.

Swampman, I'm glad your shooting is getting better. Most of us go through a slump. I think one thing that can hinder us is if we get to changing everything trying to improve. Usually if you were shooting well it's a slack in form not your equipment. I'd be slow to change equipment.
I've heard shooting up close 5 yards & closing your eyes & concentraiting on your form can improve your shooting. Now & then I'll shoot up close to improve my concentraiting on the spot. Keep at it. One thing, I wouldn't shoot till I was tired or my arms got sore. That can lead to bad habits. Good luck, I think you'll work through it.
