Anyone replace the recoil pad on a pallet wood mote carlo stock. Mine is harder then the wood and I would like to replace it but dont want a slip on version. any suggestions?

I think I'm going to put Limbsavers on my .30-06 and .45-70. I'm shooting heavy loads in them now and they come back pretty hard. If I recall correctly, the info is in the FAQs.
