What $2 will get yah.

 Man I am fired up. Sat is for sleeping, but no my wife wanted me to driver her to all the yard sales and stuff. 5am she had me fixin eggs, toast, apples and coffee. While she was getin guessed up. 6am we are on the road to find the sales and map it out. 8 it starts. man it was hot and I was moody. 11 am at the next counties Fire department they had BBQ and a drive sale. Well I thought the BBQ and a happy wife made it an ok day. then on the way out the door an lady stops me says you better buy one of those tickets for a shot gun raffle. Well that sounded ok I did not even see it cause I went strait to the smell of BBQ. They had $1 tickets for a NEF 410 Partner so I got 2 and thought nothing of it. 6pm jut got my shoes off and about fix some dinner and the phone rings......Hello (is this John Ghoat?) yes it is how may I help you? ( you can come down here and pick up your gun) ......... now who is this ? ( you just won our shotgun raffle) well...hot...d@mn when can I get? ( sir you can come before 8pm tonight or on monday 9am till 7pm) thank YOUUU I'll be right there.
 Well just got back with it and I am fired up!! can't shoot it so wanted to talk about it.
 
Sorry not trying to brag just one happy camper and I promised my wife not to grumble about takin her galavanting any more.

 I feel so lucky. I never thought that the one those tickets would win. I though hay these guy are Volunteer Fire Men and they need new stuff and 2bucks is not going to kill me. I am so glad my wife made me take her, its her fault I even was there. Vegas here I come!!(Not!) But man it's going to be hard to sleep now. Just got my second wind.

Very cool... 8) and congrats. I say if ya didn't even win, the local fire dept. is a good way to throw a couple $$ in donations... It helps out all around.
There are way too many that don't get that some firefighters DON'T GET PAID FOR SAVING LIVES!
Who are the real Heros come game time huh? ::)

It was a great Saturday! Been braking it in with a box of #6s and a box of #4s shoots great. It gives a nice little push not a mule kick of my lite 12ga. the 410 feels 2 or 3  pounds more than my 12ga partner. not a bad thing.
Sorry if this all came out as bragging. I was(am) feeling like king of the mountain. Never won some thing more than a free fries at BK.

I went to a sporting goods store the other day and they had a sign up for a raffle for some charity thing where the first prize was your choice of a really nice rifle or a diamond necklace. I felt that was seriously screwed up,becuase if I won,I know I wouldn't be getting that rifle.  :(

With the money you 'saved' you can afford to buy those expensive .410s. If you get a chance, see if it will chamber .444Marlin brass. I reload those with .410 data and shot for the really small stuff, but they will take heavier loads than I make for cheap.
