SWIFT SCOPE PROBLEMS
« on: December 22, 2002, 11:01:52 AM »
I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS EVER TRIED THE SWIFT SCOPES BEFORE AND HAD PROBLEMS. MY FATHER GOT ONE PUT ON HIS LAZZERONI PATRIOT AND SEEMS LIKE IT IS BROKE NOW AFTER ONLY A COUPLE OF ROUNDS. DON'T KNOW IF IT JUST MIGHT BE THE HARD RECOIL OF THE RIFLE OR WHAT BUT AT FIRST THE RIFLE WAS PUTTING OUT PRETTY GOOD PATTERNS AND NOW IT IS ALL OVER THE PLACE. NO IT IS NOT THE RIFLE BECAUSE IT IS BRAND NEW.

:D  I have several Swift scopes on my contenders & love them. I put one on a 454 barrel I had it lasted 5 rounds. The recoil was just to much. I sent it back to Swift & they replaced it no problem. I still like swift scopes a lot.I just wont put them on a heavy recoil gun. Try a Burris or Pentex  .You wont have any more problems

dont loose any money on the swift scope take it back to the dealer you got it from and they stand behind them no questions exchange, then use it on a lesser recoiling rifle they work fine in that area.  Go to a higher end scope for the patroit and you should be ok. :D   JIM
