How many times a year do you go into the woods hunting, scouting trips can count also.

I try to get out on most weekends during deer season (sometimes work doesn't allow it). and I go for 9 days in november to the shawnee national forest, then after thanksgiving I go to Wisconsin for a 3 day weekend, then in January for late firearm season I take another long weekend. These are in addition to the regular weekends in the woods.

That is what weekends and vacations are for.

Every weekend and twice-a-week in between if you allow the counting of food plot preparation including bush hogging, Roundup herbicide spraying, discing, fertilizing, seeding, and covering; tree stand and feeder maintenance; and year-round hog hunting on private land.  Every opportunity is another chance to watch deer, tend the property, shoot a hog, sight in a rifle, target shoot, 22 plinking, and just getting away from the modern rigors of life in an effort to recharge.

I ticked 30+.

It's hard to relate the question to my reality.  For big game I went on 5 hunting trips for a total of 39 days.  If someone were hunting from their home, they'd go out on a day-by-day basis.  If they hunted moose on this basis, would it mean they were hunting once or (say) 5 times?  They'd probably count it as 5, so that's the reason for my answer.  My day hunting was eliminated last year due to an illness in the family, or my total would have been much higher.

I'm 62 and can still do it twice.  My wife likes the one in the Spring the best.

:-[ Probably, more than 150 days, not all day you understand..when I am home or even visiting a nother state, I usually only hunt mornings and evenings...When I think of it, it is much higher..probably close to 300...I am retired and that is my job now, controlling coyotes, gophers, p.dogs, jacks, marmots, deer, antelope, elk, grouse, and anything else I can find...for a change I fish...or shoot target..
