First deer with Skinner Peep
« on: December 10, 2010, 04:31:27 PM »
I topped my 336 30/30 this year with a Skinner Peep Sight, and a .062 dia. red fiber optic front sight. I carried the rifle in Bear season, and Deer season. I took a Doe on Tuesday at 65 yards. I love this set-up for hunting. A few guys questioned my decision to take my scope off, and mount the peep sight, but now they are certain I am capable with the set-up.

Awesome!  Glad it worked well for you.

I'm still waiting to get one with my Skinner and FO front.

My Marlins all have Skinner sights, I really like the new option without the base...
