Tikka super light

Has anyone else seen these. The new Cabelas flier has a synthetic SS T3 with a fluted barrel.

Super light, eh? The plain old lite version administers a good whoopin', maybe this one will spit on you when you are down!

I really like mine but it certainly isn't a range gun. I sure wouldn't be afraid to try one if I were looking for a middle of the road round to shoot.

I like my T3's as they are . They are light enough as you need to have a soft recoil pad to handle some of the calpiers offered .
The fluted barrel might look cool and drop the weight of a unit maybe another pound , but then I would think it would be harder to shoot groups.

I had just never heard of them. I would love a Finnlite, but the T-3 light is not much different in weight. I just love fluted barrels however.
