I have a Single Six in .22 with a 9.5" barrel. When I bought the gun (new) I never could get the windage adjustment to move enough. The gun always shoots to the left. I bought a set of Bomar sights to see if it would help and still have the same problem. I was talking to some of the guys at the range today and one seems to think the barrel is turned a little too much. The ejector rod housing is not flush with the frame. It looks like the barrel needs to be turned counter clockwise (looking down the gun) to make everything lined up. This would also move the front site is the direction it needs to go.
My question is is this a hard thing to do? Will it couse the barrel to be loose? Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
