BEAR UPDATE.

As I posted earlier, a neighbor a 1/2 mile down the road saw a black bear about a month and 1/2 or 2 mo ago. Since then another neighbor said she saw a track just about 1/4 mile N of my house, she looked the track up in a book as she had seen them before. 2 other neighbors said they'd found dead logs ripped apart and others turned over. A friend works for fish and wildlife and said that they released 2 males and 2 females about 10 miles from here at different times and locations and that this year a cub has been seen. I check my pond every day but no bear tracks.  I'd love to see a wild bear, errrr, from a distance.  POWDERMAN.

Last saw a bear about a month ago. Was scouting  a bit. Have wanted to get a bear for along time, one of these days the cards will be dealt I hope. Just want to get one. Have deer, bear, bobcat, and cougar around the place here along with other critters. Sure is alot of fun watching them. Deer season is approaching and there is a 3 point, a couple of forked horns and a spike around, maybe one will end up in my freezer. We'll see what happens.Mmmmm, venison.
