Concept is sound but will it actually perform? I've always been a hold over Kentucky windage guy but direct hold was something of interest. So I bought the Nikon BDC 2.5x10 and a very nice surprise at the range. Rifle (.300 Win Mag) shoots lights out at 200 yds (1/2" groups) with 200 gr. Accubonds at 2950 fps. Nikon says sight in at 200 yds with subsequent circles 300, 400 and so on. Held dead on at 300 and shot 1.5" group that was just about 1.5" high at 300 which is OK by me. Plan on testing out to 500 this weekend and will let you know how I do. Anyone else try this scope out at longer ranges?
