short cases

Any thoughts on reloading cases that were trimmed to short as long as they are seated to OAL ?

as long as the head space is not effected I don't see any problem. i trim all my case and extra .010 . Hornady LE ammo uses short cases.

How much shorter are up talking ?

in my 257 weatherby i mostly use 7mm rem mag brass sized in a 257 die and fireformed. It ends up quite a bit shorter. I like it  because i never need to trim the brass again. I even know trim my weatherby brass to the same lenght.

...unless you're talking about .45 ACP which headspace off of the case mouth.  Otherwise I agree...
