I picked up a Super Redhawk in a trade and was wondering if I can use my 45lc dies to load the 454 with?

Absolutely. That's what I use. You have to back them off somewhere between 1 3/4 and 2 turns. I use a sharpie to make a mark on my dies and the press so I would be in the same place everytime once I find the sweet spot.

one problem you may run into is that some 45 colt dies wont size the enitire 454 case. What you about end up doing is necksizing the  brass. It probaly wont give you problems in a ruger but if you have a tight chambered gun like a FA it will probably give you problems getting the loaded rounds back in the cylinder.

I have a old set of 454 colt dies that are a little loose, I use them for 454 or 45 colt. I also have a set of 45 ACP dies that I use. My brothers gun is tighter and I run all of his 454 dies through the 45 ACP sizer.  So if you have 45 dies try them, you may be happy with what you have.
