Boone and Crocket
« on: September 24, 2010, 01:49:03 PM »
Happened to run across a B&C 700 in 270wsm. Finally got to shoot. With the 140Accubonds a three shot group where all touchin. the Fusions were about an inch or better.  Accubond it is.

I allready had a ruger 77 270wsm, but the 26'' barrel on the B&C was more than I could bare. ::) ::)

There is debate on one havin too many rifles. (but thats only for ones that r not accurate). There's no real argument for one havin toooo many accurate ones. ;)

Got to shoot the other day at 300 yrds, about 3'' or so. not bad . will use this year and may try to load for it later. Will give it a few more outings and more break in time , only been about 12 shots fired thru.

IMO about the nicest rifle Remington has ever produced.  I'd love to have one in .30-06.
