What is and what should be the role of Government?

Government provides for the Common Defense above all else.
Government levels the Global importation/exportation field through tariffs.

To protect life liberty and property.
These rights are either God given as part of the Divine plan, or they are granted by government as part of the political plan. If we accept that these rights are granted by Government, then we must also accept that they can be denied by government.

The role is outlined in the Constitution and BOR's.  Have they over exceeded their authority yet?? When a gov't does that ,it is tyranny.

The base role of gov't is to provide for the common defense of the nation and its citizens.
