CONTENDER AGE??

FOUND A CONTENDER AND WOULD LIKE TO FIGURE OUT HOW OLD IT IS.   SERIAL NUMBER IS 38X,XXX.  I HOPE THIS A FAIRLY RECENT MODEL.  THANKS FOR ANY INFO.

 This is the info from the chart I have, I do not remember where I got it but I think it was from a link that someone posted here.
                     Jan.-Jun. 1990:  370678-382852 
                     Jul.-Dec. 1990:  382853-386697
                     Jan.-Jun. 1991:  386698-399679
 The stainless frame has a "s" in front of the numbers and the highest number on the list I have is s42281 from the year 2000.
 I am sure someone will repost the link I used or a newer one. The last number on my list is from Jan. 2000: 456569. I am sure there is a more up to date list somewhere here in cyberspace.
 If my info is wrong I am sure someone will correct it. Hope it helps.
