rural Georgia newbie
« on: September 10, 2010, 05:56:59 PM »
I'm "tomiswho" been on several boards over the years, but most recently have spent time on rugerforum.com, rimfirecentral.com, and usgunandgame.com.  I was searching for info on a couple Thompson Center guns that I have and that brought me here.  Looks like a nice place, it will take a while to explore around.

As for me: retired, veteran (1970-72 Army in CONUS) a month in Alaska in 2007 and again in 2009 (brother lives on the Yukon River), target shooter, reloader, not into the tactical craze, but CCW and of course carry in AK too.  Calibers .17 HMR, .22 LR, .38 Sp, .45 Colt.  I'm one of those who figures the .45 Colt can about do it all.

Glad to be here.
