.444 and 45-70 Hornady LeverEvolution Brass is shorter. Problem?

Is this a problem for reloading when using other than Lever Evolution bullets? Should I just seat my cast bullets out a bit? Or is it a non-issue?

Yes, it takes some finagling.  I actually used my press to prime, resize and seat bullets ok, but the crimp doesn't go down far enough to connect, even with an FCD.  I used my Lee Loader bang-n-hammer tool to crimp these.  8)  I tried one set with some longer nosed cast bullets to see if it would let me seat them properly to the crimp with my short chambered BC .45-70.  They worked fine other than the crimping.  Unfortunately, the set didn't have too great of accuracy at the range, but it was my second 777 set and I'm playing with the process of the BP substitute.  8)

Just make sure you remember to unscrew the die's a little and reset them as per the included instructions that came with them.  I had to gauge off the case mouth and make sure that the built in taper crimper isn't going to contact your case mouth.
