bow season's almost here
« on: September 13, 2010, 06:01:46 AM »
man i can't wait, i went hi-tek hillbilly this year with one of them trail cameras, i'm getting 06:30 am pictures of  a big 10, a big 9, and a small 6.  I got the bow all tuned up and sighted in, and i checked the lunar table, there's going to be plenty of moonlight opening week.  I think i'm just going to sleep in my blind the night of the 24th since i probably won't be able to sleep much anyway.

John,

Can't wait either.  I'll be in ground blind on a farm in Fairfield County opening morning.   Good luck with that 10 point.

Some nice looking bucks. Imagine what they'd look like in a couple years ;D

Tom, who's farm, I might know'em.
In a couple of years they would look like elk, but around here they won't make it that long.

Went out today for a little spot and stalk and spotted a nice 8, small 4 and a doe. I did manage to arrow an unlucky grey squirrell that got within my recurves range. He'll make a nice pot of squirrell stew come tomorrow. That magnus two blade darn near skinned him for me.
